Melting You In My Arms Poem by Hebert Logerie

Melting You In My Arms

Rating: 5.0

Oh! Sweetie pie, I am going to melt you in my arms.
I describe you as a peanut butter pecans ice-cream,
With rum and raisins. The other night, in my dreams,
That's what I craved for, after the sound of the alarm.

You're the juicy ice pops that cool me off in summertime,
You're the chocolate sandwich that I yearn for all the time,
You're the vanilla candy cups that melt in my thirsty mouth,
And you're the coolant in my radiator. Please do not laugh.

Life can be hilarious, when one tries not to cut corner too much.
It's enlightening to be concise, and not to beat around the bush.
Darling, please try to comprehend my dilemma. I am in no rush,
But I'm dying to inhale and exhale the fresh flavor of your touch.
