It was the last performance of the great actor,
The stage was well decorated to welcome him,
Soon the play started
And as usual the noted actor began to move with heroic elegance and stature in different scenes,
It was justly appropriate to his character of the play,
The audiences watched him in bewilderment
And applauded the gem in every occasion.
Gradually, the play proceeded towards the end,
Finally, in the last scene,
The famous actor became unique and sensational
With his superior talent and exuberance.
When the genius uttered the memorable and excellent words,
'I came, I saw, I conquered, '
The people clapped their hands with great emotion
And gave him the standing ovation.
The outstanding actor became stunned and spellbound in disbelief
With tears of joy and sorrow raining down his cheeks,
Then he departed calmly,
In deed, it was the most memorable exit of an actor in that era.
