Memories Of Friends

Memories like wine
some I'd bottle
A few have gone off
Others age well
.
Opening bottles
of sparkling years
Vintage lovers
casks full of friends
Some tainted red
Recalled with a good meal
Some I serve chilled
and not a big deal
.
With dessert and coffee
Enjoy a few sipped
Retold slowly
sweet on the lips
.
Savour them now
In years to come
the vines will wither
memories run dry
Unlike your good wine,
non left behind
