There was me, Tom, Dick and Sally,
We joyfully played in our valley.
Tom, I know he moved away,
Never heard from to this day.
Dick would keep on smiling so,
Always keeping us on the go.
Then Sally one day she left too,
Once a bond stronger than glue.
Gone, the happy days of old,
As the years, their wings unfold.
No more singing school is out,
No more laughing or lark about.
Lost in time, play in our valley,
With my friends Tom, Dick and Sally.
Called away when all was fun,
With the setting of summer's sun.
