Metaphors Of The Heart: Tears Of Pain Or Joy?

Rating: 5.0

enigma tears heart tears or heart cheers?
'a single tear lies upon my cheek
a silver pearl a glistening streak
my heart is broken, I cannot speak'

or I am ecstatic, it is happiness I shriek
nobility of mind purpose admits no defeat!
an angelic ethereal atmosphere defeats despair
unique creativity rebirth is an emotional solar flare

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written in April 2015 on the 2.4.2015.
Upon rereading 'Snowpowder' a poem I had written back in November 1981, actually reading the words on the screen, not the words in my head, I discovered I had typed in five errors; when I retyped it in Jakarta Indonesia. The first error I had typed pear; instead of pearl, and thus revisited lines lead to alternative possibilities in a succinct concept of contrast and 'Metaphors Of The Heart: Tears Of Pain Or Joy? ' was born. Hope you enjoy the read, I enjoyed the write, tears apart the clothe of expectations. :)
The three quoted lines are from 'Snowpowder' by Terence George Craddock.
