It is Wednesday morning
and I have a case of
the mid-week blues.
Overslept this morning,
getting out to work
was such a rush that
I almost forgot to put
my false teeth in.
Almost went to work gummy.
No one would have understood
a single word I said.
Finally got to work
just in the nick of time.
I can see what kind of day
this is going to be,
another Wednesday
filled with the mid-week blues.
