Mighty King Poem by Jeremy Deacon

The Lord is so very good to us in all things. He is the essence of true joy and happiness. The Lord is the smile on my face and of those who love Him. My God you are great and victorious. Oh how your presence exceeds and pierces through the sorrow and depression of this life. You are oh God the one I long for. You are oh God the one who longs to be with His children. My God how jealous you are of us. You are oh God the truest joy that can ever be obtained. My Lord you are the great and mighty savior of all your sheep. Like a lamb led to the slaughter you died for me. Like a mighty lion roars when victory has been won so you roar over the souls of your called out ones. My God you are the Spirit that hovers over my soul and keeps me. My God you are the Christ whose blood has forever cleansed me. You are oh God the mighty fortress that Guards my soul. Lord you are more precious than silver and more costly than gold. My God you are the reason for living and the courage in my cowardliness. You are my strength when I am weak. My God how your love for me is abounding with unconditional affect. Jesus you are my King.
