Mine To Hold Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Mine To Hold

Words flow so freely
When you are near me.

A walk in the park,
Moonlight glowing in the dark,
Flowers of splendid hue,
Picked so gently for you.

The breeze on a warm afternoon
A chorus of birds in June.
The sun streaming down
Across the valleys around.

Natures gentle touch
How I love thee so much
I share with thee my soul
Your presence is mine to hold.
