Miracles Poem by Sandra Feldman

Miracles

Rating: 5.0

Poems are miracles
From the spirit born,
Like most Art form.
I want to believe,
We are more
Than just flesh and bone.

But when we see
The Atrocities
That some,
So blatantly perform,
We ask ourselves
If we even deserve
In this world,
To have been born?

I have apologized often to my children for bringing them into this world. My baby just graduated Magna laude from DePaul university. She too will experience heartache, pain and tragedy; and then grow old and die. The spirit of poetry gives me some miraculous relief.
