Mirror Poem by Kelvin Owusu

Mirror

Rating: 5.0

Do not gaze upon me with judging eyes
there’s a contradiction with in the lies you call truth
open your mind, to be blind no more
I see it in your eyes that even
you believe that you are a lying whore
offend is not what I aim to achieve
ugly is not external as you may believe
and if you think it to be,
than you have that internal disease

very nicely done! ugly is not external as you may believe that was really good and I wish more people would understand how much truth that one line says

Strong poetic expressions! Well laid verse.
