Suicidal Lies Poem by Kelvin Owusu

Suicidal Lies

Rating: 3.9

I Said hi when I meant goodbye
It's not a lie, not do I lie, just a rare truth
Is not even that I like it when you cry
Just an uncontrolled smile

You hurt, I create
You suspect, I evade
You react, I sustain
You walk, I reclaim

Left you hanging,
A noose round the neck
A river flow, blood red
Joys torment,
A gentle push
Cliff dive

A guilty love of holding power over someone who has lost self worth. The attraction to someone that for some reason you feel ashamed of, (like a natzi over a Jew but not quite thet extreme) That is what I get from this interesting read.

when you cry I smile, when you ask I retract, when you hug I am idle, the last stanza is poetically sad and true...that is what we are doing to other human being.... well done dear Kelvin Owusu..keep it up..
