Miscarriage Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Miscarriage

Miscarriage

One team one dream one scheme thats marriage
One preggy no kiddy thats miscarriage
Try artificially
Scientifically
Kid by other means needs a carriage

Miscarriage

My conscience is clear
In court i was not cleared
Son of a white man stole
Churchman gave me the role
And, said i was the thief
Reflecting his strong belief
Reflecting his innate racism
In his world shaped by fascism
Although the good thief confessed
Good theif my innocence professed
They jailed me because i m black
