Miserably Failed Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Miserably Failed

Rating: 5.0

I regret reaction
Of past action
When I first tested
Wine at party with first test

It was beginning
When everybody was dinning
Friend gave me first sip in glass
I thought I would be best in class

Even though little bitter in test
It shaped my fate and the story is rest
I was slowly taken to drugs
I am so hated that people refuse to hug

No welcome for person
Who became addicts for no reason?
I was considered as shame
Who else was to be blamed?

I used to hurl abuses
And totally refuse
For any advice that was given
Today I am shunted out and driven

People take me home
When find lying on road with no welcome
They hate to see but can’t shut eyes
So they feel pity on me and try

I have become homeless
There is no means
To live honorably
I have failed miserably
