Missing You Poem by Belle Wassermeister

Missing You

Rating: 5.0

I feel so helpless now that you are gone;
I never thought that I would see this day.
At night I lie awake until the dawn.
Could even more bad luck be on the way?

I always thought that I'd be first to go,
and you were always there to see me through.
The fact that you are gone disturbs me so;
I don't think I can make it without you.

You were the strong one, always there for me;
there was no problem that you couldn't solve.
Can I be strong enough? I'll have to see.
Will I just knuckle under or evolve?

Do I give up or come out of my shell?
That's a good question; only time will tell.

A beautiful memory for Richard. Sorry for your loss. Surround yourself with photos, plants and fun you shared together. The pen will bring teardrops and share those memories. Take care Linda
