moments are encased in moments
inside dreams and under the rocks
of our beauty. the unchanging,
unwavering stones that light up
our souls.
this moment,
in particular,
burns a flame in my chest, in
my newly discovered universe of
prose and feeling that nails my
feet into the soft ground
around me.
and allows the bitter air
to open her eyes to me, breathing
along side me, in lust. Like
old lovers, heartbeats
matched under the smiling sun. leading
me to the next undiscovered moment.
