Moments Of Intense Memories Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Walking rhythmically in unison, doing line dances together,
having fun and traipsing into places of enjoyment that seem
to tempt and taunt everyone.

Giving tempos their due in the midst of country-western moods
of music and talent, watching notes soar into the atmosphere,
playing from memory as they were written long ago.

Locating and releasing their meanings in moments of intense
memories, letting them take us into volumes of poetry now
being written in prose.

Letting all ideas and concepts fall into an interior water-
fall, unhurried and filled with many surprises that never
fail to amaze and surprise everyone.
