albuquerque, new mexico where i live is high desert—about a mile above sea level and nine inches of rain in an average year. we so depend on our monsoon in the summer months to make up for the little we get the rest of the year. among my prayers for rain are my poems refresh us, God; fat clouds; and rain clouds. thank you for taking the time to read and comment, ruta. -glen
