Monthly Storage Fees Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Monthly Storage Fees

Why are you in such a hurry?
Where are you going?
What happened?
You look as if you have seen a ghost!

'I can't stop,
To discuss with you the latest annoyances.
I'm late paying my monthly storage fees...
Where I keep my 'logic'.
I've been given twenty minutes,
Before they get rid of it.
And if they do that around here,
All havoc will break loose.'

Oh...
Is that all?
I thought I would get some fresh gossip,
From you.

'Not today!
But I'm sure if you stand there long enough,
Someone will come along...
To share an equal waste of time! '
