Moon In Blood Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Moon In Blood

Rating: 5.0

You own my soul
Why not take the rest?
As you dance away with them
All I can do, is look
Haven't you notice the tears?
As I long for yr touch
You are trying to ignore me.
You find my sadness overbearing,
However, I have found you
Twisting my words meant for you
For yr benefit; breaking my heart
As it yearns for yr love
My heart bleeds into the midnight's darkness
Drowning the moon in my blood

To love even those who betray you certainly brings tears but the heavens watch and sympathize.5*****
