Moonlight On The Rose
a vase on the windowsill
and I'm gazing at the moon
whose radiant pearly beams
dazzle rose petals
fragrance awakes my senses
midway from sunset to dawn
and the moon's my only friend
in glittering night
I am loving the nightlife
in my room of the full moon
sleepless but for these moments
of quiet beauty
The beauty of the moon will always hold us spellbound. A lovely poem with great images.
As a child, I loved to gaze at the moon as it lulled me to sleep. Thank you so much.
