Moonlit Sky
Moonlit sky
shadowed cries
Stars shine like
tear filled eyes.
Twinkling in the forever dark sky.
Bringing light to all who see.
The wonder in such sweet simplicity!
The breeze it blows
so clear and cold.
A neglected love
so long undone
it will die
along with the night sky
Come the Rising of the sun.
