Morbid Ending Poem by Janelle Morehart

Morbid Ending

Dove's do fly
As lovers will die
Tears turn to ash
Blood runs dry
As heartbreak shatters the sky
Love me
Leave me
Come to me again
Dove's can fly
Why can't I?
Lover's will die
Why won't I?
Tears to ash
Blood will dry
Why? Why?
Pain is not living
Living is not for pain
Love is not special
It will not win
Frustration remains
It will always remain
What is happiness but a tiny spurt of joy?
Anger is still there
Sorrow not too far away
Morbid ending
I call for thee
Summoned beast awaken deep in me
Treat me with your reply
Set me against the sky
Show me how to fly
Then finally...
Yes finally..
I can die
