More Outrageous To Embellish Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

More Outrageous To Embellish

Facing challenges and admitting mistakes made.
Is a part of life.
Many have done to achieve their peace of mind.
And there are others who find,
Their insecurities so overwhelming.
They try to hide them from others.
By portraying themselves as victims.
To achieve attention with lies to tell.
Until truth from them,
No one expects to hear it.
Or believes they know anything about.
And to discover to find that out,
Liars could care less.
What next comes out of their mouths.
With a telling of something else,
Much more outrageous to embellish.
As if the doing makes no difference.
And those convinced another lie heard is told.
A listening to it,
Doesn't change what is said from being meaningless.
