More Than A Headland's Sternness Poem by james watkin

More Than A Headland's Sternness

More than a headland's sternness
Into frothing, falls away:
Mother's resolve of warding.
More a coast's burden of boughs
Aslant stiff in tea tree lay:
Father's hard-won posturing.
