Mosheh Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Mosheh

Men, brothers and fathers,
Seven men of honest reputation;
Women, sisters and mothers,
Seven women of reputation;
Mosheh was educated on all of the wisdoms of Egypt,
But i am amazed and marvelled about your love.
In righteous works and in the acts of charity,
And of an image of the calf on your table;
But silver and gold have i not.
My heart is of joy and my muse is to love you,
But my flesh is the hope that you need;
For Mosheh was trained in all of the wisdoms of Egypt,
And my tongue is of gladness today.
