There is fairy fog
around the Mountain Lao
You look for a Taoist
I look for an old poet
In the thick mist
We want to have a result
That's why
We come
Oh, come over!
Look around!
The classical lyric
is in the creek
And the hermit
on the cloud
That hermit on the cloud means you found your poet and I found my Taoist! The language is so direct and sincere! I'm reminded that someone once called ZEN direct pointing to Reality. Your poem does this. The achievement of this poem is stillness and humility, generosity and lack of ego. The least trace of vanity and the poem would collapse and disappear, but here it is - firm and stable. This poem has the same mysterious but emphatic effect on ME (AND OTHERS!) that the image in the previous poem did, namely, I SET FREE THE DOVES IN MY HEART.
A fairy mist, lyric in the creek and the hermit on the cloud! Stunningly beautiful, and pulsing with zen! Your poem brings me to Mountain Lao, so cool and serene. Thank you for sharing, Cigeng.
Thank you Kwai Chee for your beautiful comment! Nature is always inspiration.
