Mountaintop Poetry Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Mountaintop Poetry

Roads lead to memories living in the country on a
mountaintop when I was young.
Willow trees billowing out, reaching for the ground
they were growing out of.
Voices carrying on conversations in past minds,
being remembered right now.

Thinking

Piles of wood stacked in unlit fireplaces,
awaiting their fires of passion when lit.
