MUMBAI'S RELENTLESS RAINS
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The sky seems to tell
‘for water you always yell;
am now belly-full
let there be no more.pell-mell
go and fill your lakes and wells'

‘this is.fresh water
quench your thirst and feel better
bathe yourself later
"cats and dogs" - mere chatter
of "rainy days"- be aware! ‘
- - tanka
Rainy days - a time of need or trouble (in current context-days of acute water shortage)
raining.cats and dogs- very heavy rain
pell-mell- hasty, rushed, disorderly
