Mutant Algorithm Poem by Shaun Cronick

Mutant Algorithm

Rating: 5.0

Boris Johnson calls it a mutant algorithm,
On rating student's exam paper's outcome.
A sick joke to the world we've now become.
It's damage limitation for the media scrum.

Two pawns now sacrificed are keeping mum.
And high kings in place will not succumb.
Education was proudly once rule of thumb.
Now so sadly held together by chewing gum.

Education is one of the primary concerns of government. A great education shall never be compromised. A very perceptive and informative write. Well crafted and conveyed. Thank you for sharing, Shaun.

Yes Shaun so sad but true. For example, my niece was devastated when she received a C and two Ds for her A levels. However, in the end, justice prevailed and she was rightly upgraded to an A and two Bs...now she can go to a top university. Nevertheless, the damage caused was completely senseless and as for Gavin Williamson...well you can imagine what I think of that schoolboy howler of a joke. Btw love your closing line...spot on good sir...10+++++!
