My Approach To Life Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

My approach to life?
Do not overkill the taste of it,
With too much seasoning.
Salt and peppered attitudes...?
I try to stay away from those.
But every now and then,
You may find me experimenting.
However,
The more natural the flavor,
The more appreciative I am.
And I like to pride myself,
On what I digest.
Especially if I can keep manfested,
A more healthier outlook.
And not constipate myself with nonsense.

My approach to life?
Nothing special really.
But I do watch what and how I think!
I like to believe I keep myself regular.
Not too sweet...
And yet not completely meat free either.
I try to maintain a balance.
With a bit of drama.
Lots of humor.
And a slice of mystery every now and then!
