The sun is up in the morn,
As I wake up from slumber;
He has forgotten forlorn,
For me to share the laughter.
The sun is ascending now,
As I want to rise and shine;
The zenith is just waiting
For me to soar high so fine.
The sun's summit is at noon,
As I long for pinnacle;
After the wrath of typhoon,
The light's ray is visible.
The sun descends ere the night,
As in life I fail or fall;
The dusk welcomes the twilight,
Trials do strengthen my soul.
The sunrise and the sunset
Just show my life's low and high;
The warmth that I always get
Gladly erases my cry.
