My Day.. Poem by Dislocated Heart

Away for the day.. I ran a good 8 miles today..
sore and wanting to sleep.
but instead I went out to the movies.
Hook ups, set ups, cheaters.. liars.
all in one day.
damn, believe me.. I wanted to punch my friend in the face.

Never Will I Cheat!
Nor Lie to the one I truly love.

Got me thinkin.. maybe its just how we are programed..
Its in our DNA.

For us to love, and forget..
and move on, with just a scar, or maybe even less.

Crappy day..
cant wait to get home..
I checked my messages..
I realize.. when she told me she was shaking..
this was why.

She told me something, no one else knows..
perhaps its forbidden..
but it shows.

Somehow, it made my day..
I guess it turned around somehow.
