My Dog Awaits Poem by Susan Lacovara

My Dog Awaits

Rating: 4.8

My dog awaits
My day to end
I should follow his lead
Curl up cozy
And realize
He is older in his years
Then I
And probably knows better
When to call it a day

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

The joy of returning home to our faithful friends! I miss my Kitty Girl still! 17 years is a long time to have a beloved pet and the absence is surely felt when gone. Love this write!
