My Eyes Dance Poem by mark nwagwu

My Eyes Dance

Rating: 5.0

Walking down nature's path
birds all above my head
building their way using math
airfield on my feet instead

With beaks freshly hatched
my feet their musical stance
songs from drums far fetched
coax me to stand and dance

Forests given to innocence
announce their solid presence
jumping twisting and turning
all the world's gone dancing

Gurgling rhythms bathe my face
my limbs in curves of slow embrace
as gorgeous Love assumes his place
and now my eyes can rise and dance

seek the image. the idea of birds using math is inventive.
