Something we can all give,
It doesn't matter,
The color of your skin
or,
What world you live in
Something,
That can be shared by many
or,
Given to one.
Something special,
'The Gift of Life'

My wife and I just returned from a vacation to Thailand. I was contacted by the Red Cross yesterday. I told them of my travels. They advised that I will not be able to donate again until a year has passed. I look forward to donating again.
It's a wonderful thing to donate blood. Also, you can become an organ donor. I am too old to donate blood now, but on my driver's license I am an organ donor. I already donated a couple of my fingers years ago...

23 April 2018, noon. Reported at the Layton Red Cross donation center. Was greeted by Denise Lang, a Red Cross Volunteer. She helped me check in. Then Jerry Faimau took over and verified my eligibility and proceeded with the blood draw. I was in and out within an hour. I encourage everyone to donate The Gift of Life.
