My House Is Deserted Now
How strange
I could cut open a brain
look into hippocampus
pituitary, amygdala
frontal lobe, hypothalamus
optic and auditory nerves
name any nook or cranny
I could dissect all
but I could not detect
your lies when you said
you dearly loved me
you left me
without a trace
my house is deserted now
where there were roses in vases
swarms of mosquitoes fly
we loved Mozart and Ribaldi
now when I come home
I see our poodle sniffing
your slippers, circling the bed
and wondering why are you not here
he runs to me and howls
I loved you dearly, honestly, sincerely
I do not know where I went wrong
be happy with your new lover
forget me, my life will move along
I cannot forget you though
your memories will remain with me
forever, forever...

Fabrizio Frosini definitely one of sweet friend of mine here, he has a great italian poetry...but what i look at your poem, it might be inspired by Fabrizio but the language play, the cleverness of your expression sound authentically yours...it has touching feel and wonderful pick of medical relationship of anatomy to link someone feeling with biological being...we writers always use heart as emotion expression but you use amygdala, hypocampus which a small region but conquer all emotional control..a cool way of writing dear Sir Ravi Kopra
Thank you, Unwritten Soul origin...it was a long time ago when i tried to pick what is the name to be called that represent what my mind want to tell, it maybe new at that time where i really want to show what is inside me, my thinking, real personality that no one knows when they talk to me, because i have to live to understand people and i cant be so selfishly tell what is inside if they are not ready to what i am going to say or share, and there is a lot of thing behind this name that i could direct message you later...somehow after years i wear this name i feel more confidence of it just part of me now but funny things now i have realized that some people are using this name also for their ID in social media... i have make sure no body use this name that time but now that could be mistakenly guess it is me, because few people are using same name hahahaha...it just a coincident though..whatever their reason for picking this name, i feel glad that there is commonity between us despite living in wide and spacious world :)
