I've travelled the road to happiness
But it's always been difficult for me
Just trying to find peace and light
Have my eyes opened so I can see.

I never said 'I Can't'
I continued and pulled through
Even though I was in constant pain
I would start each day anew.

Life's ups and downs came and went
My heart grew cold inside
It would have been darkness along the way
Until You became my guide.

How can I thank you Lord
For not letting me feel blue
How can I thank you Lord
For everything you do.

You’ve made me feel special
Showering me with Your love
You've filled up my cup overflowing
With gifts from above.

What beauty now is in my life
You've changed me in every way
You've made my journey easier
You've brightened up my days.

I refuse to let the darkness in
A ray of hope You have given me
You pointed the way to the light
Helping me to see.
