My Lord Knows Well—the Depths I Feel Poem by Mohammad Younus

My Lord Knows Well—the Depths I Feel

My Lord knows well—the depths I feel,
This aching void I cannot conceal.
Buried beneath, the truth lies near—
How long must it hide? I cannot bear.

How I long to return, to reclaim
The covenant made in Alast's name.
Right here, right now, without delay,
I'd go—no thought, no time to sway.

I yearn to see with divine sight,
To hold You close, bathed in Your light.
To hear Your voice, with wisdom to bestow,
Revealing truths I'm longing to know.

I'm lost in the chaos, adrift in despair,
Until You unveil Your love and care.
You are the essence my life requires,
The hidden truth, my soul's desires.

Unseen, yet seen—a wondrous flame,
The secret that none can fully name.
Revealed and veiled, You astonish still—
The one eternal, bending all to Your will.
