My Love
I can't forget her
I still can't forget her
she comes in my dreams
daily
she loves others more
that I can see
but she hasn't yet removed me
I know that
she will come back
searching for PP ME
but then perhaps it
will be too late
I shall be at my burial gate
she will then be smiling at me
full of happiness and with glee
but as long as she is smiling
that I'll only see
and it will make me happy
ere I enter the funeral valley
I shall wake up for a moment
to give her my last wink
only she will be able to see
my smiling face only
she will send a flying kiss
I alone will see
then
winking for ever at her
only she will know
that I did really love her so

Love is perennial! It will live till eternity. Though your dear one has left you, you hope that she will come to you one day or the other. By then you will be lying in your grave. Yet you hope to sense her loving presence and see her lovely smile. You wait for that union. A touching romantic poem.....
