My Mistake Poem by Ana Z. M.

I think I'm making the biggest mistake,
It feels so wonderful when I tell you I love you,
but so empty and disappointing,
when after this, I can only remember HIS name.

Oh! I'm crying so hard,
this was my mistake,
I shouldn't have fallen in love that way,
and now my mistake made you happy.

Be happy, you deserve it,
my love you do,
but i don't,
I made the biggesst mistake for you.

This is so wrong,
this is not correct,
I love HIM and I love you,
What can I do?

This is a mess,
the one I've created by myself.
My darling be happy,
don't be disapointed by these words.

Everything was too soon,
no time to forget him,
and here I am making amendments,
to you my dear, if I hurt you.

Yes HE left me behind,
a while ago,
but HE didn't depart from my heart,
and forgetting him is something I wish to do.

This is my biggest mistake,
letting you enter my heart,
believing you were going to collect the broken pieces,
but I've created bunch of new pieces.

My darling be happy,
this doesn't mean I don't love you,
I warned you before,
and here I am afer making the biggest mistake I've ever made.
