My Outer Body Poem by john tiong chunghoo

My Outer Body

my physical body - when
it lacks water talks to me
through a thirst in the tongue
when it is not well, wraps me
round with a fever

my outer body (nature)
when it is sick - too let me feel
its rising temperature,
that if it is not taken care of
would not be able to
sustain my survival
