My Puter Poem by Bonnie B Long

My Puter

Rating: 5.0

So many things await for me
Where do I start I can't see
Piles of papers laundry to do
Gee I'd rather be talking to you

All my friends are on the internet
I need to talk to them I just want to get
The latest scoops and to play with them
I'd rather be here from am to pm

The housework can wait but they can not
As far as I care the laundry can rot
Hubby comes home and where does he find me
In front of my screen looking for friends I can see

Wait he's dragging me away
Telling me I can come back another day
I live in my puter each and every day
The housework can wait for another day

I like this - not least because of the title, I often call mine a 'puter, adds a certain silly nuance to it I find! Anyway - the poem, yes I can agree with this wholeheartedly, I can be quite addicted from time to time! HG: -) xx
