My Sanctuary's Solitude Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

My Sanctuary's Solitude

Rating: 5.0

Amidst my kin and near and dear
A stranger when I appear,

When in woefully crowded world,
I've felt forlorn like a lost bird,

In seeking my soul's company
When sought have I souls of many,

In search of mundane world's vain lights,
When I've missed my inner delights,

When in a mad crowd have I stood
And lost touch with soul's amplitude,

Whilst digesting spiritual food,
Felt lost as if in unknown wood,

And felt miserably no good,
Sought have my soul's solitude.
