My Soul Sang An Aria Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

My Soul Sang An Aria

Rating: 4.7

When our Lord asked my soul to sing
It muted with fear
He went and touched its throat
The song wasn't off key
Though, a little shaken
It grew with confidence
And soar to heaven
As a pitying of doves flew
Our Lord said to sing
The waves echoed with glee
While my soul sang an aria
