My Superstition Song (Fr. The Tragically Hip) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

My Superstition Song (Fr. The Tragically Hip)

Rating: 5.0

I play this song when I send a poem
To a publisher, hoping they would accept it
I play it when the poem does
I play when someone comments on my poetry
Even though I post for some postive results
I believe that the songwriter is my guardian angel
And he's helping me in heaven
As he's protecting me from disappointment
Some people think that I have OCD
When I tell them
They do not believe in good luck
Saying I'm a good poet anyway
But I do have faith in my superstition song
Because it works ninety-five per cent of the time

I have a hymn that goes through my brain from time to time to keep me sane, Dear Lord and Father of Mankind Forgive Our Foolish Ways

In the course of our life, we become attached to things that make us happy or bring us luck. There are circumstances that propel us to believe and we respect the same. A wonderful and interesting poem.

LeeAnn, you're a good poet! ! ! I think that your song is your security blanket...we all have one! What's the name of the song? I'd love to hear it!
