My Wish When Died Once Again Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

My Wish When Died Once Again

My wish when died once again,
As was its wont, an old habit—
When I failed to be friends with it,
Curb nor curtail, nor e'er restrain,
And took my sole, my soul with it,
Saying, let's meet again!

A clever wish to meet To meet the Yamraj once again, I am reminded of the story of Savitri and Satyavan.
