Myself-Iceberg Poem by Anjali Mandokhot

Myself-Iceberg

Sometimes there is so much loneliness
Even amidst a crowd of comrades
That strangers to me they all seem
Amusingly doubtful, skeptical and uneasy
'Friend! ' They address me,
Chuckling inside I reply a smile
No not their fault
For hard, they have always tried
But such an iceberg I am.Alas!
Only one-tenth of me can be seen
Even that is deterring rough and hard
Forget the ninth-tenth under the sea

One day soon I hope you start to melt so we can see the real you, the true you. We a poets cannot isolate ourselves. Write on.
