Mysterious Quick Visits Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Mysterious Quick Visits

On the other side,
Of what is known to be shown.
Is the unknown.
And how quick its visit,
Comes to surprise...
Either with a happiness to leave.
Or unexpected shock and pain.
Felt to grieve unable to breathe.
Normally.

No condolences from others wished.
Can make sense or convince,
One feeling such emotion deep...
An event to personally experience,
Is understood to understand.
From where what one feels inside.
As if to stay to permanently reside.
Only faith in God,
Remains to rely upon.

Only faith in God,
Can soothe what has been done to do.

Only faith in God,
Can remove what is felt.
To eventually heal,
A pain to feel from its lowest depth.

Only God who works,
In the most mysterious of ways.
Can cure and mend the hearts,
Of those shocked...
Into unexplained pain,
That causes disbelief!
