Mystery Flowers (Limerick) Poem by Spock the Vegan

Mystery Flowers (Limerick)

Rating: 5.0

There are plants said to hold magical powers
They are said to come after April showers
Notice that all the empty hulls
Resemble tiny little skulls
These are seed pods from the mystery flowers

(Can you guess the flower name?)

Kelly is right; these are seeds from the snapdragon. I have some in my garden. In fact, I was going to use the snapdragon for my next mystery flowers poem, but you beat me to it. Good limerick.

Thanks, and sorry to steal your show. It was quite a while since your last flower post.

One of my favorite flowers to grow (and play with; making them 'talk') Snapdragons. I collect the seeds every fall to plant inside come February. Sometimes I will even over-winter some plants to give me blooms indoors. I once kept one alive for 5 years

I don't recall ever growing them. I might have to try it.
