The sun bites this morning over another.
The son has stopped before me,
He smiles with fine eyes so artfully,
And me asks without words: well as?
Oh, my teenager as your pale cheeks sparkle!
Oh, my God! ... He has shaved today first time!
The childhood has departed not hammered smile...
As quickly!

'the smile hammered hasn't departed as quickly! ' i love the humour in this line. this sweet poem speaks out volumes of love and concern tsira has over her teen age son...
Tsira, so quickly does the childhood vanish and our sons grow to be men. Still we carry with us always the memories before then. Top marks and thanks for sharing this my friend. David
First shave now the fun starts, and the caring and the worrying also starts, the process of manhood takes its stuttering first steps nice write enjoyed Chris 10

A wonderful write Tsira. First time to shave. A thrilling moment, but one day, in the not so distant future the thrill wanes and it becomes a chore. But, for now, there is much joy in the 'growing up.' Thanks for sharing. Best regards Richard
